As you may have heard, we seriously love making horsepower! 

When Rob contacted us looking into an engine package for his already Procharged VS commodore we were more than keen to get involved. 
The Plastic powered car already features a Stroked Holden motor with an F2 Procharger but as we know the chase for more horsepower is simply addictive. 

After an in depth conversation and a few cool ideas we put together one of our LSX454ci Engine Packages.

This particular package started off with a Brand New LSX454 Crate Engine.

We decided to use our newest Custom Grind Blower Camshaft for this job as we wanted it to make some serious horsepower with an aggressive curve. Once all the details were agreed on we got the engine down to the engine shop and Glen got stuck into it as he always does.

Once it was stripped down we got the Cylinder Heads to Higgins Race Development where the LSX 6 Bolt Heads were CNC Ported so we can get them really breathing, in the mean time fitted the camshaft package & ARP Head Studs to it.

After getting the compression down to where we wanted it was time to fit the freshly CNC ported cylinder heads and get it ready to ship. 

Although this build is set to make some serious horsepower, Rob plans to upgrade the rods & pistons in the bottom end down the track and really crank it up!

We are looking forward to seeing this thing up and running in the near future.
