Morel first entered the performance market, Specifically targeted to racing lifters in 1992. The Morel production plant is a 9,300 square metre purpose built factory that has in-house heat treating with a full metallurgical lab.
The factory features an oven with a hermetically sealed unit using different gasses for controlling the heat treatment quality. There are over 100 pieces of specialty equipment in the plant for producing & manufacturing the highest quality lifters & gears to suit Nascar, Race cars, Street performance & everything in between.
The founder of Morel, John Callies who is known for Callies crankshafts brings over 60 + years to the business & is continually developed lifter programs for Street Performance lifters through professional racing lifters. Morel continue development on new or current products every day.
