These Scat I-beam connecting rods incorporate all of the best features possible for an I-beam rod, including some strength adders found in H-beam designs. Scat Pro Comp I-beam connecting rods are profiled with clearance for long stroke applications
These rods are perfect for upgrading your stock OEM cast rods & utilising a one-rib cap design for added strength & bearing support, Polished beams to eliminate stress risers & special hollow dowels with huge 7/16" ARP cap screw bolts to greatly increase strength and horsepower capabilities.
These rods are very popular for customers wanting to rebuild their engine with significantly stronger & higher horsepower rated components.
This would typically suit customers wanting to utilise your own existing GM factory crank, But are planning on pushing beyond what the stock rods & pistons can support.
